3S uses sandwich panels manufactured in modern, large scaled foam press for our heavy or light insulated cargo transport units.

Sandwich panel of aluminium skins and polyurethane foam core

3S most used panel product is a sandwich of aluminium or stainless steel skins foamed with polyurethane foam. Skins are prepainted with primer and cover paint on the external side and primer only at foam side for maximal adherence during foam process which is computor guided.

Standard panel FRC type is optimized for heavy insulation use according to ATP-requirements for FRC, corresponding temperature interval +12° - - 20° C, K-value 0,40 W/m² K and mechanical refrigerating unit. Cellular size and gas filling are optimized for best insulation. Foam of hard polyurethane with thickness and density approx. 43 kg/m³

The light insulated standard panel insulation is optimized for use according to ATP-requirements for normal insulation according to ATP requirements for FNA and CNA, corresponding temperature interval +12°C - - ± 0°C, K-value 0,70 W/m² K and mechanical refrigerating or heating unit. Cellular size and gas filling are optimized for best insulation. Foam of hard polyurethane with thickness and density approx. 55-90 kg/m^3.

We can also via partner offer alternatives in honeycomb sandwich with aluminium, cell kraft or polypropylene core and skins of aluminium, MDF or glass fiber to meet various other requirements of i.e. weights, clean-rooms and fire resistance.
